Men’s Sheds project

From … at 6.30.

JOY is aiming to start a Men’s Sheds project.
These projects have been springing up all around the UK in recent years, providing a meeting place with workshop facilities for older men. “Shedders” can start their own projects, join in making things with other “Shedders” or create things for the community. Anyone can join in.

Activities include:
woodworking inter-generational skills sharing socializing

A fully kitted out shed will be set up at Somerville Adventure Playground (next door to New Cross Fire Station). One morning of the week a tutor will be there to help get the project going. So even if you don’t have woodworking skills you can come and learn and meet people. Tea and coffee will also be available.

So please spread the word amongst your male friends and family.
